I called for pizza the other night and the pizza place is just down around the corner about a 5 min drive. I wanted to get it delivered, didn't feel like going out. This is the day after the bad sand storm and we just had another one go through with a down pour of rain, but at this time it hasnt rained in almost 30 mins and sun was shining, the lady who answered the phone says it will be about an hour and 20 mins to get it there,,,, I was like why so long, she says because it is raining out...I said rain stopped half hour ago, she says yea but our drivers didnt come in because of the rain....so i went to pick it up and it was ready in 15 mins. I just can't get over these people here they can't drive in the rain...yea I know it only rains about 3 days or so a year but my God you would think they had to drive through a blizzard.

Hope everyone had a great Easter. Yesterday was Geno and my 6th wedding anniversity, we spent the day house hunting and think we found the one we want. It is 4 bedroom 2 baths, livingroom, greatroom, kitchen, diningroom, 2 car garage, and a hugh back yard. will put pictures up soon, if we decide on that one.

Samm and I worked an auction over the weekend, we did processing for the people who bought land, it was a land auction , I can't get over how cheap some pieces went and how expensive some were ....this company does land auctions in AZ, CA, UT, OR, NV, and MN and that is also where all the land it, they give away a piece of land every hour during the auction and then 3 at the end, we weren't able to get tickets for it cause we were working it, next one is in October and we are going to work it again and having Geno come so we can get a chance to win free land

these are pictures of bees, not a bees nest its called a ball of bees, that whole thing is bees, no nest. it was in the tree outside our livingroom window. samm seen a lot of bees flying around and when i looked out there had to be 1000's of bees just flying around. we got the pest man that the apartments uses over and he was telling us that it was a very small ball of bees, he has seen ones 10x that size. he uses stuff that freezes them and kills them. now there is nothing left in the tree but leaves

never won any radio contests in NY, but here they were having one on every friday they would pick the best homework excuse lol and all that know matt know he has some whoppers. I submitted the one .... my mom didn't remind me to do that... and he won....48 hours to sylvan learning center...worth $2500 , I can't get over how expensive this place is, well yea i can seeing we had checked it out when back in NY when matt was in like 4th grade....well anyways in NY matt had an IEP for reading and writing, and here they said he didn't need it when they tested him and he has been having very poor grades since they took him out of the helping class.... testing from sylvan showed he is still having lots of problems with reading and writing....so they will work with him on that....they guarentee he will be 2 grad levels higher in 36 weeks....well guess we will see..... now would be great if he wins the trip for 4 to disney land that comes from being one of the winners in the contest....the contest is only fridays for 3 months and all winners get put in the drawing so he has a 1 in 12 chance to win..... I really enjoy working at home LOL ,,,, get out of bed and don't have to rush around getting ready and dressed to get to work...I can take a shower during my lunch lol

it rained from 11pm friday night till sometime this morning, much needed rain, flagstaff and all parts of maricopa county over 200 ft got snow (maricopa county is where we live but we are only 1200ft) flagstaff is 2hours north of us and they got a foot of snow. it is nice and sunny again today. going to go through the garage and get things ready for the garage sale in a few weeks. might get rid of all the camping stuff, don't want to camp in a tent here, not sure i want an unwelcome visitor in my tent in the middle of the night....scorpions or snakes.... see lots of people camping in tents on the mountains when we are out on our drives....but I dont know LOL

look close enough you can see 3 roads, it is one road but it winds up the mountain, we were 6995 ft a canyon The mountains are so pretty in Sadona, all red rock some bunnies this was taken at sunset , we were on sunset look out, there had to be about 100 people up there waiting for the sun to set this is up at sunset lookout this is the bell, you will see this mountain in all the advertising of Sadona

went down to the pool area to make bbq chicken for dinner. and decided to jump in the pool for a little while, wish the water was this temp in the summer when its 115 degrees out. just thought I would let you all know . do wish it would rain here though, hasn't rained (no precipitaion) in 137 days.

some pictures of the parade we went to a few weekends ago. it has a 1,000 horses in it and its to start the rodeo season. these guys did that lasso around them and the horse through the whole parade which goes for 3 miles, the guy below was standing on 2 horses and going around both of them mexican dancers the state cactus ( sagaro) there was a group of these kid clowns behind some many groups of horses, what a job lol cleaning up the poop

a quail , took lots of pictures of it cause i kept sneaking a little closer and snapping pics. a hawk on a power line made geno stop on side of road when i seen it red eyes this is the American coot check its feet out a malard this is a real pretty duck it's head looks purple a calico duck this is an American coot, some kind of water bird not a duck

we went out to dinner Tuesday and Thursday night with Genos cousin, and Geno's brother and his wife. Geno's cousin took all us out the 1st night to some nice italian resteraunt, i had veal parmigan (sp?) it was really good, not as good as Momma Mia's in Niagra Falls on the Canadian side.... had a apple spice cake that was delicious....Thursday Geno's brother took us all out wow what a resteraunt..it is called Top of The Rock, it's built in the middle of 2 mountains and the hotel is built around the mountains it is real cool will get a picture of it one of these days and put it on here. well anyways this place was unbelievable, no prices on the menu....hhhhhhmmmm right off the bat knew it was very expensive, everything is ordered seperatly, I had filet minon, with daulaouphine potato, which is layered potatoes with layers of blue cheese and baked it tasted like scalloped potatoes, I really wish I took my camera with me lol, my salad came out and looked like a bunch of leaves in a little cup , but turned out to be a cucumber not a cup lol with a pile of sliced tomatoes and goat cheese, everything was ssssoooo good, then for dessert I had banana nut bread pudding, it was set up on the plate and looked like a rabbit lol, it had long thin dried bannanas that curved as ears and stawberries for eyes. I could imagine what that bill was . probably close to $400 ..... Jacquelynn comes in tonight, and we are having a surprise bday party for Samm tomarrow... shes going to be 18...damn time flies..... well going down to cook bbq chicken on the grill and probably jump in the pool or hot tub while its cooking. it is 80 out today :-) no snow lol and no cold

Genos cousin Bruce is coming in today, he is here for his job for the week, we will be going out today for a little while with him, this is the 1st time I meet him, it is aunt gerry's son. he lives in georgia. it was real windy here last night and chilly, won't say cold cause it's not freezing like back in NY geno and me went in the hot tub last night around midnight, felt real nice being in it till getting out and coming back up to apt it was a little chilly. well will write more later on

been real busy with real estate investing, looking at houses and checking comps on them to see if they were worth the investment, found a few ,but we don't have the money for that type of investment, the buy and hold ones, we have to get our feet wet first and do fix and flips to get our investing money up....the fix and flips we find and have an investor put the money up and fix the house then sell it and split 50/50 profit.....been writing letters and addressing envelopes for pre foreclosure homes, these are homes people are going to be foreclosed on and really don't know it yet, so we send out letters to them stating we are interested in purchasing a home in their neighborhood and if they know anyone looking to sell with out a realator... have to go shopping for turkey dinner today, no room in freezer to put one lol boy I miss my moms freezer.....have to clean out fridge to have room for left overs....well have a great turkey day everyone....

what a great past 2 days....went to a 2 day intensive for real estate investing....it was the greatest hydrenaline rush ....driving home the 2nd day I kept saying to Geno look there is a for sale by owner there...stop write down the # and address (so when we get home we can check all it's info on line at home) commercial lots are not even done being built and are for sale wrote all those down cause we have a commercial investor that wants to buy property here...when I was talking to him my mind just started spinning...I was like wow commercial hhhhmmmmmm make lots more money .....being commercial properties are million dollar properties here....so I made him stop at all the ones that I never seen before as many times as I drove down the road but yesterday they all popped up lol.....we are looking at buying some dirt for $50,000, everyone is proply saying are they nuts....no we are not this dirt we are buying is near where the new stadium is going up and the builder who owns it is building condos on it...we will earn 18% for 2 years on our money...and then get to buy one of the condos at 1st year cost...which means when they are done being built we can buy one for like 250,000, but it will be worth like $500,000 hhhhhmmmmm doubling money....well going to go now to scan the net for some good buys..... and we are doing all this without using any or our own money or credit....

not as big as the NY state fair but way more expensive , well at least more then last year, it was $5 to play a game, we went to the demo derby which was nice cause they have a larger area then ny's ......they had a few rides that NY's didn't have....not as many buildings either...there was one like the center of progress, and one sort of like a flea market but was located under the grand stands, and a hobbie one that was all, we didn't go in the one animal bulding so not sure what kind of animals they had,,,I got a few more of those blocks of crystal with the picture etched inside them, with the rotating light under them, alot cheaper here then ny, geno bought me a few before and paid $20 just for the crystal, here we got a crystal and rotating light for that.....I won a monkey playing one of the water games lol, I have him sitting out on our patio,,, isnt he cute

always hate going to the movie theaters what a big rip off they are and are now even worse then the last time I went lol complained about paying $6 to go. well we spent $9 lied that matt was 12 so he was only $5. went and seen the movie Stay not as good as we thought nothing like the trailer.... but loved the theater nice large comfy seats and they are set up like stadium seating so no matter where u sit the people in front of you heads are not in your way, the seats reclined and rocked you had a choice if you wanted your arm rest down or up, and the sceen was HUGE with a slight curve to it making it awesome to watch a movie....

here is where the kids seen a gilla monster which is a lizard that has gills that come out on the side of its head. I couldn't get the picture of it cause it was too dark in the crack. this picture is on the northern side of the mountains so much greener on this side going down the mountain you can see the canyon lake. and the winding roads. speed limit was only 25 mph and 10 mph around curves. you can see up ahead how sharp some of the curves were, some you had to toot your horn prior to going around them. this road we drove on is highway 88 most of these following pictures I took out of the sunroof while we were driving this is showing how close to the side we were driving. could reach my hand out and touch the mountain, some spots were drop offs . sign showing how curvey the road is ahead top picture is of a canyon like area there was a cave with water going in it down there, bottom picture is a close up of the cave and water canyon lake , it was beautiful and so quiet this bug was ON ME ....almost gave geno a heart attack when I jumped and screamed no idea what kind of bug it is yet but will find out it looks like some sort of stick bug. they all laughed at me for taking its picture (it is a water scorpion) samm standing on top of a mountain never thought a desert could be so beautiful

sunset coming down the mountain cool looking rocks see the high tips way in the back that is how high we went it was almost 6000 feet high, also this is a nice part of the road it was narrow and winding all the way up another picture of the tip where we went few senic pictures, it is so beautiful here few pictures of the road not as many pictures on this mountain as the next one because it was too bumpy and I had to hold on LOL, pictures of the drop offs aren't as great looking as they were in real life

went 4 wheeling today, started out to be a drive through and up some mountains , turned out to be 4 wheeling up a mountain, holy cow the roads were winding and narrow. will put pictures on here tomarrow going to bed now have to work in the morning.....was a long day we were out driving at 9:30 in the morning and didn't get home till almost 8:30 tonight... stay tuned for the pictures of out adventure lol

well I think I am going to really like this job, today was interesting till lunch then it got boring lol I figured out how to work the whole computer just from watching the guy that is training me, only thing I need to learn which will be from lots of looking up the questions asked it all the parts and how to trouble shoot the water softners and other products that they sell. seems like any job your get here you get paid every 2 weeks it sucks at first but it's nice getting that big pay check. we get paid on tuesdays which is weird and is going to really suck cause i will get my first check in 4 weeks for one day pay YUCK.. It's hot here tonight, suppose to be 103 tomarrow. robots comes out tomarrow woohoo can't wait to get it and watch it looks like it's going to be real funny

doesn't matter what the day is now, Geno works 7 days a week most of the time. Didn't get the job I wanted but still got one that I start Monday, hoping it is a good one lol. I know that their medical benefits suck costs too much, they pay full for employees but family coverage is like 200+ a week which is stupid cause you still have co-pays . Think I'm just going to set up a medical account at the bank and put the money in that so if anyone needs to go to the doctors we will pay cash..... Samm will get free medical through the native american tribe here. went through and hung pictures around the house making it look more like a home, doing laundry whats great is hanging it out on the porch on one of those racks it is dry by the time the next load is ready to go out no using the dryer.... glad rita is heading a different way then they thought maybe gas wont go up as bad as they say

went to another interview the other day, it is for customer service but not like a call center one, it is for a water softner company, I would be taking apts, and complaints from customers was offered the job to start monday making $10 an hour went to one on monday for a land scapping company it is a small business, and I would be doing lots of office work it's a job I know I would really like, hoping friday comes and they call me. not sure what the pay is lol forgot to ask, but its alright cause this is the job I want, everyone pray for me to get it ... tried posting the other day but kept getting an error so I gave up. didn't go to work yesterday at the portrait studio lol hate working till 7pm, and they called me this morning to work alone at a different store, I have only had 3 days training lol it wasn't like it is a rocket science to take photos but taking ones that sell more then just the package... I have only taken 1 group of photos on 1 human and it was an adult lol. other then that I been taking pictures of a stuffed bear who is very coroprative most of the time lol. well confused on what to do , would like to take the photos maybe on a occasional weekend, guess I will have to talk to them, cause I really know I don't want to do it all the time because of the hours, I like being home to make dinner and eat dinner with the family. and dont like coming home at 7pm or later and having to cook then, gggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrr have no idea oh well life goes on

guess I will try this again, for some reason the blog got an error when i tried to post went to an interview monday at a small land scapping business, very casual office everyone wore jeans which I like, I would be doing invoices, a/r, making apointments, and other office work , I really hope I get it , it is something I know I would enjoy doing and not hating to go into work,,, had another interview today for a water softner company it is a very quaint office but dressy casual, and I would be on a leash, even though it is totally different from the other customer service job i had I really not sure I want it, they offered the job to me today to start monday getting 10 an hour working m-f. I am iffy on taking it cause I really dont want to go through all the training and find a different job that I like and leave them, the 2 guys I met with today were cool and funny, and there is lots of room for advancement... I will be quiting the portrait studio cause I need a real job, I hate working till 7 or 8 at night and always working on weekends , and being on my feet 8 to 11 hours a day I love photographing the babies, they are so cute. oh well everyone pray for me to get the job at the land scapping place... oh yea my mom got rid of my mobile home, the people who lived in the double wide behind me are moving in to it, cause the old man who owns the double wide told them they had to pay in full or move out..

seen it today for 2.86, alot of other places were still 2.95 but looks like it is actually going down. well I got the job at the portrait studio in walmart... guess right now it's better then nothing, went and got my nails done and had a pedicure while there. went to a mall here tonight.....it is alot bigger then carosel even though samm said it was smaller will remember not to go on a friday night though .... nothing but a bunch of loud teenagers. seen groups of the that looked like the kids were only 10 to 12, wandering the mall. we went to spencers to get genos brother a bday gift for turning 50, I think that store should have an age limit on entry unless with an adult. there are things in there that they sell in adult stores, not things these little kids should be seeing... got to work tomarrow ,,,, yuck on a saturday,,, still have other interviews I am going to for jobs working only monday thru fridays,, weekends off now thats what I want

went to an interview for the company that does the portraits at walmart, more then likely I have it just waiting on my reference checks, which will be good. I was offered 9 an hour to start which is 2 dollars more then they start people at cause I have experience from working for one of their competitors lol life touch the ones that do school pictures.... also get commision from selling over the packages. can promote fast with them too cause they are new in 4 stores here and need lots of employees, guess I will be busting my ass or as mary will say brown nosing lol for a while , with christmas pictures starting soon it won't be too hard , I plan on being a manager of one of the stores by January if not sooner. well will let everyone know what happens with that job... at least I won't be on a leash lol. talk to yas all later

on discovery, brought back lots of memories from that day 4 yrs ago today. still wonder what those guys really did on flight 93. they showed the footage of the 2nd plane hitting the trade center, I remember talking to geno on the phone and he asked what was going on so I turned the tv on and said holy shit a second plane hit the trade center. did anyone else watch it???

played games on line, found a new poker place, www.bospoker.com its alright started with $1000 and in an hour i had almost $100,000 lol wish I could go to a casino and do that would make a career out of it lol wishful thinking huh ..... making speghetti for dinner, geno has to have wheat pasta... thanks Teri turned that thing on and now hopefully no more SPAM also figured out how to delete it off my comments. when I think about calling you to get that weather thing on it's always too late lol...not late here late there. pools closed for cleaning today so nothing to do, gas still high here, did get it the other say for 2.99 a gallon whats funny is the 2 other stations on this corner were 3.19 and 3.29 and people were in line there lol what I can't get over with the price of gas going up the morons who are buying hummers, here when you buy a new car you get a paper plate (license plate)( for the smarty pants LOL) and I have seen a bunch of new hummers driving around. some people have no brains... oh talking about cars I seen this real nice one that was a mercedes benz but looked like a jeep went to web site to see what it was and couldn't believe the price over $100,000 for it OMG we have been talking about trading the jeep in for a hybird I test drove one the other day and it was real wierd cause you can't feel it shift, it also has a check system in it and tells you gas engine OK battery engine OK, brakes OK etc. thought that was cool. have to wait about another 6 months or so before we can trade the jeep in so there maybe a possibility of getting one... save lots on gas seeing that it runs mostly with the battery engine, only uses the gas engine when charging the battery one . also when u stop at a red light it shuts off and comes back on when you put your foot on the gas lol talk to you all later

another day at the pool

did some running around this morning, finally opened an account at the FCU here so won't have to pay atm charges using our card from ny. decided we would cook out down at the pool, so I made bbq london broil (now that i know how to make it tender) and corn on the cob on the grill, while that was cooking we went swimming and yes it was cold after getting out lol, temp was 93. after dinner went and sat in the hot tub for a while.aaaaahhhhhhhh much better real hot when u first get in but felt good after. jump in the pool after being in there and the pool is cold ( the pool water temp is usually like 80 or higher feels like bath water). hope everyone enjoyed the fair this year, did miss not going but thats alright the state fair here in az is 3 weeks long and with admision $5 you can see the rodeo, demo derby, car races, crazy 8 cars and more for free. funny thing about it is , it's not open on mondays and it starts the week after the kids week vacation. will be funny being at the fair and wearing a sweatshirt, being it is end of october beginning of novemeber, i'm sure it will be chilly at night. I have 2 interviews set up for monday, hoping to get a good job that I like and not the one I had where I was leashed to the phone and computer lol. Had to quit that job , my neck was killing me and I had a neck/head ache for a week till the motrin finally kicked in

Finally got my AZ license and registered the jeep holy cow u guys think it's alot in NY, 50 bucks for 2 yrs, I just paid $220 for 1 yr, looking for a new job, hate being on a leash at the one I got.Geno traded his truck in for a smaller one sort of the cab is smaller but the bed is bigger and less on gas and payment is lower too. can't get over the big difference in auto insurance from company to company. for 6 month premiums they go from 1100 down to 550 , gieco was raising our cause of the move which is real stupid, but geno called them and told them what we can get from another company for a lower amount and they changed ours to a lower amount hhhhhmmm didn't know car insurance did that Samm and matt have been in school now for a month and u guys are just starting, they have a week off in october and almost 3 weeks in december/January. well going to go play a pogo game talk later.

hope everyone had a nice day off, we just hung around the apt, went swimming while cooking dinner. Got out of the pool and was freezing lol (it was 99 out)Geno says I dont know what you are going to do when it goes down to 80 lol. I have 2 interviews tomarrow so not going into the boring job, the one I'm on a leash at lol well thats what it feels like, now I remember why I don't like call centers. You are leashed to your phone and computer and can leave only for breaks and lunch, this place also has mandatory over time. I am squirming after 2 hours and there are days I have to work ten lol. Everyone that knows me knows I can't sit still that long lol. Geno may be going to colorado or nevada for work, the cabinet place he works for has lots of work there and needs guys here to go. I really hope that I get the job with uhaul I will be the receptionist/office manager. It sounds like a good job something I will like. Well going to watch a movie I think meet the flockers, want to see hostage but can't find that dvd , we still have a few boxes that haven't been unpacked.
